WELCOME TO POSY & COSY

Thank you for visiting my website!

I set up Posy & Cosy in 2020 during lockdown, just after having my first child.


Working as a shepherdess cemented my love for all things sheep; especially fibre-crafts. Crochet gave me immense enjoyment and an escape from the stress of Covid, and first-time parenting! I began making baby blankets for friends’ children as gifts and then excitingly orders started coming in!

Posy & Cosy is named after my beloved grandparents; Primrose (nicknamed Posy) and Allen (nicknamed Cosy). I lived with them during my degree studies and evenings were spent in front of
the fire sitting opposite Primrose while she tried to (very patiently) teach this ciotóg how to crochet and embroider.

CARDIGANS

Add the name of your precious bundle to a little knit. All cardigans are handcrafted in Ireland and embroidered by me. I hope to regularly stock the online shop with a mix of colours and sizes, so please follow my social media for updates.

Hello!

I live in Kilkenny with my stonemason husband, our two beautiful little boys, and our two dogs. Posy & Cosy started as a hobby and past time that has now turned into my business!

I am passionate about preserving and promoting traditional crafts. Every blanket is crocheted by me. The knitted cardigans are sourced from crafters in Ireland and hand-embroidered by me.

 

I hope you will love your Posy & Cosy as much as I have loved creating it!
